Fun Saturday

Today we took Alexander to a lil Halloween trail they were having at a fire station it was made for lil kids to walk threw and get candy nothing scary. He did enjoy the decorations and the people dressed in costumes.

It was windy all day today it got most of the leaves off of the peach tree. But i did not mind the wind it felt pretty good.

After we got back from the trail I checked on the rabbits and caught Dots feeding her baby's. I cant wait to see them!

Lazy Thursday

Today I feel like it is going to be a lazy day. Just going to sit around outside and enjoy this weather that we have been getting. It is perfect the sun is out but it is not hott at all and it is not cold either just nice and warm and breezy.

On Monday night or Tuesday morning my Dots had her babies! It has been almost two years since I have had baby bunnies so I am excited to see the lil ones once they start coming out of the nest.

                                     

Shadow is the proud dad of them. I think that there are 5 of them been checking every morning to make sure they survive the cold nights that we have been getting but Dots is doing a fine job at covering them up.

Cleaning Sunday

Today I cleaned the rabbits cages.

Great Friday

Today my sister came over and we grabbed some breakfast at ihop which was very delicious. After breakfast we went to one of our local farmers who was selling pumpkins and bought 2 then we went to our local flower mart and got three mums and to homedepo for some potting soil. The weather was perfect today not hott and not cold the sun was shining and we had a nice breeze of wind , wish every day was like that.

Had to get a few pictures of Alexander with the mums and pumpkins for his oma.

 

 

 

 

And this is the mums new spot I bought the pot almost 8 month ago from Ross a discount store and never used it till now!

Since I was working on things in my front yard I went ahead and cleaned off my porch swing.

 

As you can see it needed it really badly.

 

After all the fun outside I went inside and cooked dinner. I made a very yummy steak salad : )

Lovely Wednesday

The weather was alot better today still cold but not raining! I am pretty glad that it is getting cold now after the hooooottttttt  summer we had.

I love being able to spend the day with my lil man He is growing up so fast! And soon he will be a big brother : )

 This is our barn/shed I have big plans for it. We want to take the whole thing down and rebuild it since it is very old and as you can see not in good shape. I want to rebuilt it mainly for the cats make it a cat paradise on the inside and hold my rabbit , cat and pig food also.

 As you can see we built a fence in the front of it and that was meant for the rabbits and it worked out great until a stray cat started coming around and eating them so back in their cages the rabbits went. So when we rebuild the shed/barn we will also extend the fence get the area alot bigger and built a lil shelter next to the shed and get 2 pot belly pigs! Hopefully we will be done with this project by May next year or sooner!

Rainy Monday

 

Today I woke up to rain very heavy rain. So I wanted for it to stop for a lil bit before heading out to feed the animals.

So once the rain stopped i got my lil man dressed in his jacket (the first day he had to wear one) because it was cold it went from sweating hot to cold!

Of course the barn cats were all gathered around the house waiting for us since breakfast was about 2 hours late! You would have thought they were starving. As you can see they are not especially my Tara!

Having a fun time he really enjoys being outside with the animals and I sure am glad that I can make this a part of his childhood.

And since it started raining again while we were feeding the animals we hurried back in and spent the day inside. Hopefully the rest of the week will be rain free!

For dinner I made some steak , mac and cheese and broccoli and cheese yum : )
